aero glass w 945gm chipset

I have a dell D620 with 2 GB of Ram, the Mobile Intel 945GM graphics. According to all the information I've been able to find, aero should work with this configuration. the only vista option in color schemes is for Windows Vista Basic. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions as to why aero glass is'nt an option? Thanks

does your GPU supports pixal shaders 2.0?

Yes, according to info on the Intel site, it does support pixel shaders 2.0
